Movement and Relaxation for New Mums and Mums to Be
What is it?
The more active and fit you are during pregnancy, the easier it will be for you to adapt to your changing shape and weight gain. It will also help you to cope with labour. We also have sessions aimed at ladies wanting to get active again after having their babies and activity sessions for your little ones where dad is free to come along too.
re:fresh offers sessions from Mindful Movement, to Pregnancy Pilates and Aqua Natal. All our sessions are taken by fully qualified staff specialising in ante and post natal exercise. Our Aqua Natal session at Darwen Leisure Centre is attended by a midwife and you can stop for a brew and a chat with her an other expectant mums.
Who is it for?
Our ante natal sessions are suitable at any stage of your pregnancy.
Ladies must wait until after their 6-8 week check for normal birth and 12 weeks after a c-section before taking part in any post natal activities.
